  • OS market share per carrier

The Smartphone Carrier Report is a bi-annual report that examines consumer perceptions regarding their carriers and smartphones. The report looks at key purchase criteria, such as churn propensity, purchase location and plan type purchased (pre/postpaid)

The report additionally examines top customer dissatisfaction issues, by top carriers, as well as how each carrier ranks for key challenges such as network speed, device selection, service reliability and so forth.

This satisfaction analysis is complemented with market share data, examining the smartphone market share by the OEMs within each carrier’s base, the operating system share per carrier, as well as the current device mix available at the carrier retail stores.

The result is a clear view of consumer attitudes towards their carriers, and the range of devices that are currently in the market. This complements the Data Consumption Report, which looks closely at just how much data is used on smartphones, resulting in a detailed view of the smartphone/data landscape market today.
